Happy post-Valentine's Day, everyone! You all know what that means, right? We're halfway through the second month of 2014 and maybe, if you're like me, still nowhere near our fitness goal. LOL. But that's okay because it's not yet too late to get back on the treadmill or to hit the floor for some floor exercises.

Transitioning into a healthy lifestyle can be tough, but it always starts with wanting it. At first you'll need to force yourself to do those exercises, but soon enough, it will be like second nature to you. I know it can be so frustrating trying to stick with working out because come on, who wants to sweat their ass off when you can sit at home and watch movies all day, right? Guilty. But throughout my on-and-off relationship with fitness, I've found that working out in cute activewear actually helps in motivating me more to attend the fitness classes and even do workouts at home. Sounds silly, but it honestly works for me.

As such, here are some of the workout gear I am really loving:

Flow Y Bra IV in zing pink light | Centered Energy Bra II in baroque blue | Energy Bra in white
Free To Be Bra in bali breeze/fresh teal

I typically layer a tank over my sports bra when I work out. However, it doesn't mean I don't enjoy owning a colorful set, right? These colorful and cute sports bras from Lululemon are at the top of my list! I love the criss-crossed multi-strap the most, as seen on the Free To Be Bra.

105 F Singlet *Silver in raspberry | Flow & Go Tank in vintage pink | No Limits Tank in fresh teal/mini hyper stripe fresh teal | Free To Be Tank in white

These are just really some of my faves from Lululemon. I would actually probably put everything on their site on here if it wouldn't make such a long list. Criss-crossed straps and racer backs are best for working out because you won't have to worry about straps sliding off your shoulders midway through your pushups or poses - I had to learn this the hard way. It really ruins the momentum!

Or anything from Manduka, basically, as I have heard excellent feedback about their products. I just found out that Certified Calm houses the brand, so I'll definitely pop by their branch in Fort some time to check them out. I have been meaning to get a mat for a while now.

In all honesty, I really just love the statement booty shorts. I mean, don't they just make you want to actually train insane or be sweat happy? ;) Since I took on Bikram Yoga Alabang's 4x4 Challenge this month, I've been stocking up on cycling shorts and these would really be a cute addition to the collection. I'll talk more about the 4x4 Challenge on a separate post.

I haven't been able to do a whole lot of proper cardio lately because my rubber shoes finally gave up. It really is about time I get a new one.

Also been planning to get back into boxing because a co-worker has been inviting me to, so once I get a pair of training shoes then I'll definitely go boxing. Hopefully, this happens soon!

What about you? Does being in cute activewear motivate you, too? Share with me your favorite go-to sites and shops for workout clothes and let's all support one another in our goal to be the best version of ourselves this year! :)
