Work Wear: Fringe
8:00 AMI never really tried to learn how to wear fringe boots--or any shoes with fringe, for that matter. I have always thought that it simply isn't my style. Strangely enough, I became inclined to trying out this pair because my old brown boots have decided to completely break down already. No ill feelings, though, since I did use the life out of it so it got pretty good mileage. (I'm still on the market for flat boots though)
And even though I like to think that I have a casual style, I think the fact that I closely associate any type of shoes with fringe to be bohemian or country makes me think twice about reaching for it. Again, it just isn't my style. In fact, the only look I remember being even remotely close to anything bohemian is "Safe and Sound". Not too bad for my first try, I think?
I fail at giving my personal style one name, so instead, I think of it as "fun with a mix of sophistication". Threw on these suede fringe boots, and this was the end result! A little bit outside my comfort zone, but still me.
They were pretty comfy too, since the insides were padded well. Good thing it was cooler this day; otherwise, I think it would've been a bit uncomfortable toting around in these babies.

And finally, after what turned out to be an unplanned hiatus, I'm back with another post! Certain situations changed and it blew me off-track my solid posting schedule. Yup, I post every other day or at least 3x a week. So, thank you to all those who have been around despite my lack of updates. I do see your footprints and I appreciate you checking out and even leaving a comment or two :)
