It's funny how since I moved out and started living on my own, the number of outfit posts I have definitely went down in comparison to my travel photos. Living alone, it is just easier to take photos of other people and other things than of myself. Fortunately, though, I have my bestfriend who still helps me out with taking my OOTDs or outfit photos whenever I ask her to. We work in the same area, so some time during the afternoon, we would meet up for a few minutes to quickly do my photos for the blog. In fact, it has been a while since she has been helping me with my outfit photos and I am forever grateful!

When I was back home, my dad or his assistant would be the one taking my photos. It would be done before I left for work. And since he and I both didn't have a lot of time, there was also not much chance for us to change our location, so you will see that in my earlier days of style blogging, most of my photos were taken either in our garden or on the street in front of our house. So much has changed since!

Nowadays, picking the location is an important step in my outfit photos. Sometimes, I know right away where I want to shoot; other times, we just stumble upon a place like this closed off road. My bestfriend has an eye for detail as well, as we both studied Arts, so I love it when she gets into it and tells me if my outfit matches the background or if we could use little corners instead and make those work. Sobrang effort, 'di ba?

From simple street photos to a nearly full-on production, the evolution of my outfit photos sounds a bit silly when I think about it. But I must say, I am enjoying every bit of it; discovering my style along with my taste or aesthetic.

Have you ever taken outfit photos or OOTDs? Do you think about these things, too?

xx,
Megann
