Is it time for an outfit post yet? I feel like I haven't given you guys anything in ages! I've been in and out of Manila for a few weekends now, travelling locally to see what else is there to the tropical paradise that is the Philippines. Indeed, there is so much more.

It's been crazy to me how I've managed to find myself either on a plane or a bus going out of Manila almost every weekend. So, I've practically been living in a suitcase almost - only, because I'm close to mastering the art of bringing just a backpack, it's more of living in a backpack now. ;)

I used to be terrible at packing. I used to overpack and bring a ton of things I didn't need. But as I went through each trip, I learned more and more what are my travel essentials as well as which clothes to bring (and how much of it) for certain trips.

This summer season, rompers or playsuits are an absolute heaven-sent for me. They're stylish, sexy, easy to move around in, and don't take much room in your bag! I can use them as a cover-up or an outfit in itself.

This romper from Power Dressing 101 is a favorite because of its print. It's floral, but a breath of fresh air from all the bright ones we see a lot today. While the print is toned down, the low back cut and halter top adds a little sexy factor to the look, revealing just the right amount of skin without being over-the-top. Rompers are great - except when you need to go to the bathroom. LOL! ;) Hey, sometimes you gotta go for style!

I've found that when it comes to packing light, not only do we need to narrow down the number of clothes we bring but also look at the material of the clothes we're bringing. Go light! :)
