February being the shortest month kind of makes up for the lengthy January that had past. I mean, while January isn't the only month with 31 days, it still felt longer coming from the holidays. You get what I mean? And with February being short, this just means we're a week away from March - the beginning of summer!
I wasn't always the summer gal. I hated going to the beach (or swimming in general). But the thirst for adventure and travel simply led me again and again to the beautiful shorelines of the Philippines and something just clicked, and I knew that that was where I wanted to be.
We all know how insanely hot summer can be here in the Philippines. Unfortunately for us working girls, we don't have the luxury of skipping out on dressing up for work. Wouldn't we all just love to be in our PJs in an air-conditioned room all day, free of the hassles of commuting coupled with heat?
Ah, but there is a solution to our inevitable fate - stock up on lightweight clothing for summer! In this look, particularly, I have put together a summer-friendly, office-friendly outfit that can keep you looking nice and proper despite the heat. A cropped sleeveless turtleneck top tucked into an easy-going eggshell colored skirt is all the right light tones to keep you looking fresh all throughout the day. If you need to cover up, pick out a lightweight blazer such as the one I'm using with this look. You can also find solid colored blazers like this in department stores.

It's not so hard dressing up for work during the summer when you have the right pieces within reach. I'm pretty sure a lot of these clothes are within reach. When you have some free time, scan through your closet and see which pieces you can work with.
Good luck and enjoy the last week of February!
