Lower Temperatures, Higher Need for Layers

Earlier this morning, I tried to write a blog post using the Blogger app hoping that I'd be able to post something before I fly out of Manila. As I am still getting used to the app and my new phone, I accidentally deleted the whole blog post. What a waste! Then again, there's no use crying over mistakes. It wasn't so bad.

Now, I am blogging from my hotel room here in Iloilo. I was flown here for a Dinagyang-related work trip, and I will be staying here for four days. I'm always thankful for opportunities like this because I get to discover and be more familiar with my country. Admittedly, I haven't travelled locally that much, which is why I look forward to any chance that allows me to do so.

Speaking of work, my current workwear formula is a sweater layered over a button-down and pants or skirt. Our office already cold as it is; but, now that the weather temperature has gone down, the need for layers has gone up! I'd be shivering halfway through the day if not for the sweaters (and sometimes even a scarf).

I decided to veer away from the structured sweater + button-down combo and went with a looser sweater to achieve a more casual/effortless look. Of course, I couldn't look too dressed down for work so I still threw on a nice pair of heels - one of my current faves from Zalora Philippines.

You can get a 10% OFF on your first purchase from Zalora with this code: ZBAP0fg
