Today, I went to my dermatologist for a routine check-up and facial. These visits usually require me to be fresh-faced and with no make-up on. Clearly, it has been a tiring week and I've just developed the sleepy eyes. Lovely.
My skin is quite sensitive, but it has definitely been seeing better days lately as compared to my teenage years. I'm not saying it's perfect and flawless, but it's in a better state. I'm so glad it is quite under control now, as my skin has to be one of the things I'm quite conscious and worried about. I think girls who have gone through a crazy puberty stage will feel quite the same. I'm still in the process of discovering which products work for me and which don't, and I always make it a point to let my skin breathe whenever possible. So visits like these are the skin-saver for me. And also drinking lots of water!
I do believe skin problems are part genes and part health and hygiene. So if you can do something about the latter, then go do something :)
